If I am in you people's shoes, I would rather make filters on the group to hide the NSFW-based contents, and for the likes of the TF2 Freaks, Five Nights at Freddie's, furry characters, it has become obvious to me that you people aren't allowing this stuff just because you personally don't like them like intolerant brats. I won't be so surprised if you hate fans of both MLP, FNAF, and TF2 Freaks. I understand that there are those who are unpleasant and want to be distanced as much as possible, but this does not give you the right, or even an excuse, to be intolerant d*cks to the point of collectively punishing and vilifying everyone else who aren't doing anything wrong, same logic with the TF2 Freak community.
In response to the factor that there are a lot of bad individuals from those communities who migrate to other groups in order to do and say very bad things, it is legitimate to crack down on those people, but what we shouldn't do, is collectively punish and vilify everyone from those communities, because there are some individuals who are indeed benign, and who don't want to do anything bad.
In the cases of people turning into dicks, not all of us are susceptible to it, as it does depend on the person. By all means, we should stand up for ourselves and/or others against a particular bad person. That doesn't make us dicks, but we are being assertive against them.
Within the TF2 Freakshow community, I had created a bombshell rant against most if not all of the community leaders (including SarisKhan, Xho, ShermanZAtank, and Kugawattan) (except for LEtheCreator, OluapPlayer, and Shirosaki97), because of their blatant toxicity, abuse, and also for the false narratives they pump out regarding characters.
The incidents I'm talking about happened before anybody knew how to handle them. You're still correct that it's wrong to vilify people based on association.
The future is in the hands of a younger generation that can hopefully learn from our mistakes, while not getting hurt the same way we were (which caused our over-reaction in the first place).
Still, yes, you are correct in having these grievances. It's just been a long time and digging up what made everyone this way would be like digging up a graveyard, and that's (most of the time) bad ju-ju.
